Army GIS Maps
tactical mapping for Indian Armed Forces

GLOBEIR builds military-grade GIS maps and tactical mapping solutions for the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, paramilitary, and defence research organizations — including topographic sheets, 3D terrain visualization, fire-planning maps, and operational planning overlays.

Capabilities

What we deliver

Topographic Map Sheets

Military-grade topo sheets at 1:50,000 / 1:25,000 / 1:10,000 scale with contours, hill-shade, drainage, vegetation, and infrastructure — matching SOI MGRS conventions.

Fire Planning & Range Fan Maps

Artillery range fans, mortar coverage, weapon trajectory overlays, target reference points, and beaten zones for fire planning.

Line-of-Sight & Viewshed Analysis

Identify dead ground, observation posts, visible/non-visible terrain from any vantage point — critical for OP siting and ambush planning.

Route Planning & Mobility Maps

Cross-country mobility (CCM) maps, road/track network analysis, river crossing points, choke points, and bridge classification.

Border Surveillance Maps

LoC/LAC tactical mapping, sensor coverage zones, surveillance gaps, and integrated intelligence overlays for border management.

Air-Gapped & Offline Deployment

All maps deployable on standalone, air-gapped workstations and tactical displays — no internet required for classified environments.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is an Army GIS map?

An Army GIS map is a military-grade geographic information system map designed for defence operations — including tactical topographic sheets, fire-planning overlays, viewshed analysis, line-of-sight calculations, and operational planning support tailored to military symbology standards.

Does GLOBEIR build maps for the Indian Army?

Yes. We provide GIS mapping services for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, BSF, ITBP, CRPF, SSB, NSG, and defence research organizations — following SoI standards, MGRS coordinate systems, and Mil-Std-2525 military symbology.

Can the maps work offline / on classified networks?

Yes. Our defence GIS solutions are deployable on standalone workstations, tactical displays, and air-gapped networks. No internet connectivity is required during operation — critical for classified and forward-deployed environments.

What scale topographic maps do you produce?

We produce military topographic sheets at 1:10,000 (urban operations), 1:25,000 (tactical), 1:50,000 (operational), and 1:250,000 (strategic) scales — matching Indian SoI conventions and NATO STANAG standards where required.

Do you provide 3D terrain models for terrain analysis?

Yes. We build high-fidelity 3D digital sand models, hyper-realistic terrain visualization, and immersive VR environments for mission planning and pre-deployment rehearsals.

How does GLOBEIR ensure data security for defence projects?

We follow defence-grade security protocols including air-gapped deployments, encrypted data at rest, role-based access control, and zero-cloud options. We are open to entering defence-grade NDAs and security audits.
